This bedroom is full of historic charm. In the manor of a private estate comprising of 160 hectares of forest with Piscine, Pool House, Spa-Sauna, in the relaxing heart of the Brenne National Regional Park, the region of the Berry and the departmenet of Indre. Only 25 minutes’ drive from the A20 highway.

The George room is a crow’s nest in a 16th century manor house, ‘swith an unspoilt view over the forest.

On the courtyard side you enter through the tower by means of a historic stone staircase. It’s double orientation bathes you in light with a view over the stream and lake.

In the evening after a Jacuzzi and a Sauna in Relaxation Space (not included in the room rate) in the finest Finnish tradition, watch the sun turn the forest foliage golden as it disappears from view for another day.

The hearty organic breakfast served in the 16th century morning room with its original bread oven is the ideal way to prolong a romantic moment.

The charm of our historic family furniture and photo books of Brenne will plunge you into a world of calm and delight snuggled into soft cosy sofas around a wood-burning stove.

- With a separate entrance to that of your hosts through the tower via a stone staircase.

- Cosy bedroom (a comfortable queen-size bed – 160×200) with interior wooden shutters.
- 2 armchairs, a chest of drawers, a desk and chairs, 2 luggage racks, a kettle with tea, coffee and herbal teas)
- a shower room (shower tiled in tradition tommettes, toilet and 1930s sink)
- On the lawn 2 teak sun loungers with cushions as well as a teak table and chairs await you when it’s time to relax in the greenery, with a book or lost in your own thoughts, and enjoy the view over the lake.
- A 35% deposit is required to block your reservation with the balance payable on arrival
- Deposit of 35%, but which is 50% if the start of your stay is in less than 15 days, and 100% if the start of your stay is in less than 5 days. Deposit which remains with the owner if you cancel unless the owner re-rents in which case she will reimburse you deduction of 40€ administration fees.
- Payment of the balance on the day of arrival so as not to wait during breakfasts
