A charming spacious room for 2 or 3 people, in a private estate comprising of 160 hectares of forest with Swimming Pool, Spa and Sauna, in the relaxing heart of the Brenne National Regional Park, in the region of Berry and the department of Indre. Only 25 minutes’ drive from the A20 highway.

The charming La Sonne bed and breakfast, rated “Chambre d’hôtes référence”, is 42m2 of peaceful ground floor space. Lie back and unwind lulled by amber tones, in the heart of the Brenne Natural Regional Park, in the Berry, 36, near to Argenton-sur-Creuse.

On one side the entrance, through the manor’s courtyard, on the other the backdoor, that gives onto a stone stairway, typical of the region, leading to a relaxing private terrace that faces due south. The double orientation of the room makes It feel like a secret hideaway with unspoiled views over both over the stream and the meadow.

In the evening, after a Jacuzzi and Sauna in the finest Swedish tradition, (not included in the room price), why not enjoy the last rays of sun as it sets over the forest.

The hearty organic breakfast in the 16th century morning room with its original bread oven is the ideal way to prolong a romantic moment.
The charm of our historic family furnitureand photobooks of the Brenne will plunge you into a world of calm and delight snuggled into soft cosy sofas around a wood-burning stove.

When you arrive, we can settle around the fireside to share a tea or coffee and find out your tastes to better recommend a restaurant, a hike, or a beautiful local village to visit.

- The kitchenette of the pool house is equipped with: cookbooks, crockery and cooking plates for oven, microwave, pyrolysis oven, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, salad spinner, dishwasher, stone sink, refrigerator top for 4 bedrooms, small freezer (optional) (ATTENTION: NO COOKING PLATES WITH HOOD) (Do not make big groceries)

- Ground floor shower room with large walk-in shower with support bar, floating toilet with support bar, 1930s sink, stool and window onto the forest.
Double exposure :
- To one side the babbling brook, meadow, springs and forest (south facing) : garden table and loungers with cushions (accessible from the bedroom by an outdoor stone staircase with steel balustrade)
- To the other the manor’s interior courtyard.

The holiday house is no smoking (Smoking is permitted outside. No smoking out of windows)
Our animal friends are not allowed (no exceptions can be made)
Payment by cheque, cash, bank transfer (payment must be in our account a week before your arrival), ANCV cheques up to 100€ for each reservation on www.lerisdefeu.fr (cheque vacancesare not accepted for reservations made on third party sites), cards not accepted. A 30% deposit is required to block your reservation with the balance payable on arrival (A security deposit of 200€ which will not be cashed is also required)
